Platform transparency
Stopingo is an online platform operator within the meaning of French consumer law. Trip suggestions are ranked on service criteria only: how close the driver's route is to yours, and the matching preferences set on both sides. There is no paid ranking, no commercial promotion and no shareholding link with the drivers listed. Moderation rests on reports, read by people.
Consumer mediation and disputes
Under articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French consumer code, every consumer has the right to free recourse to a consumer mediator to settle a dispute amicably. Stopingo's mediator will be appointed before the public launch, and their details will appear here. You may also use the European online dispute resolution platform.
Insurance
Trips fall under carpooling between private individuals: they are covered by the driver's vehicle insurance, whose validity is a condition of using the service (see the terms and conditions).
Reporting content
Any unlawful content can be reported to us at contact@stopingo.com or via the contact formIn the app, every trip and every profile carries a “Report” function; every report is read by someone on our team.
Point of contact (Digital Services Act)
Under Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, Stopingo designates a single point of contact, reachable electronically at the address above. By authorities (European Commission, Digital Services Coordinators, Member States) and by users of the service alike. Exchanges may take place in French or in English. Writing to that address requires no automated tool.

The “Stopingo” trademark, the logo and the contents of this site are protected. Any reproduction or reuse without prior authorization is prohibited.
